Here we are again kicking “Father Time” in the butt and putting together a plan to finish one of those projects that had gone stone cold in someone’s garage.
This family heirloom has seen many different configurations on the street over the past 30 years.
Several years’ back a restoration was started which included a frame off body restoration.
During the restoration wheel tubs were added and a narrowed 12 bolt rear differential was installed with inboard springs.
Disc brakes and the beginning of a fuel system to support a healthy big block were also installed.
We’ll be fitting a 502 cubic inch 502 horsepower crate engine in the car.
A Big Stuff III computer will be used to control the fuel injection and the overdrive transmission.
