1971 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible

The owner of this Mulsane Blue 1971 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible called Select Motor Company with a work list for his car. The list read as follows:
Install a four-wheel power disc brake conversion

Install 3.42 gears and an Eaton positive traction unit in a 12-bolt housing to replace the 10-bolt in the car

Correct alignment of convertible top and repair circuits and switch

Restore engine compartment

Recover front bucket seats

Replace door panels

Install Second Skin thermal acoustical barrier and install new carpet

Replace steering column with tilt-column and add floor shifter and console

Remove chassis, bed line bottom of car

Clean-up chassis and drive train while out

Install ’71 Chevelle mag wheels

Install “SS” dash and instrument and wiring

Replace, repair or restore anything that needs attention while working on the list

As you can see from the list, we’ll be filling in the gaps on a partially restored convertible and producing a show worthy vehicle.
